That's some amazing work. It sure brings back a bunch of memories when I had my coupe all stripped down like that...although I certainly haven't taken up the upgrades to the extent that you have (most of the aftermarket/swap parts weren't around back then I think).

Anyways...beautiful work!!!

so when you are painting, do you drape any plastic over the cabinets and shelving to keep the paint overspray off it or do you not have much paint overspray?

JW (never having done anything like what you are doing here)

I have had good luck with HVLP paint guns not throwing paint everywhere. If I was using an old siphon style gun, I would have to cover as much as I can

That looks great, it will be so nice to see it completed after so many years of creative work. You sure can play the long game on a project.

Really like the wood floor vs slab.

The garage was originally a carriage house. The wood floor makes it a bitch to roll anything heavy across it. She is going to be more of a twenty footer, but I am going to drive the shit out of it when it is done

In all seriousness, what are your plans? A 4" crank should be one of them. I can post photos of my Dad's ride for inspiration.

The plan is to put a cam in it and use it as a 360. I have a worn standard bore block that will be the basis of a more serious build later. This one is getting a windage tray and a cam
