First car was a 1976 Volare RoadRunner that my dad and I found at a police impound auction back when I was 15. Originally a 318 with A833 OD trans. I still own it, and it now has a 360, 10:1 compression, Comp Magnum 280H cam .480 lift, gasket matched, and home ported heads with 2.02 manley intake valves. 273 adjustable rockers to deal with milled heads. I also own a 79 Volare Police car with original driveline (360 E58). I've converted it from leanburn to standard electronic ignition, replaced the cam and springs with stock replacement, and added an Edelbrock Performer Carb. Both cars still run great.
