Sold. Not what I wanted for it, but it went to a good home in Amarillo. Do what you have to do sometimes...

    SOLD 1984 Chrysler 5th Avenue

Forgot to mention it comes with a Summit 6900 Cam and Lifter kit, along with a Cloyes timing set. Both 84 Shop Manuals. Has Cherry Bomb on it now, will include a Flowmaster 44 muffler if wanted. Ex just gave me 2 weeks to get it out of the garage, so need it gone.

    Marty Robbins 777 Mopar

I agree. The RRHoF is a joke. I would like to see Roxy Music in, but that will never happen. Huge influence on many of the 2nd British Invasion bands of the late 70's and early 80's and a unique sound all their own.

    Marty Robbins 777 Mopar

Your thinking El Paso City from 1976. That was the sequel to El Paso. Feleena was the prequel that came out in 1966. Pet Sounds came out the same year, one of the inspirations to The Beatles.

    Marty Robbins 777 Mopar

Don't forget this one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGpFouzKnN4 A follow up to El Paso, referring to himself as "the singer" in a song from long ago. Brilliance. Gunfighter Ballads was probably the first concept album way before The Beach Boys (Pet Sounds) and The Beatles (Sergeant Pepper's...

    small block 4bbl intake

If all you can find is a spread bore manifold, you can always just get an adapter plate. I use a Performer with a 1406 (a square bore). I used to have a Holley 4130 as well. Is that what you have? When I bought my 5th, my friend put a SP2P manifold on it with the Holley. Edelbrock doesn't make...

    Wintertime Beater ride

Here is my daily. A 96 Lexus ES300. 290K miles and going strong!

    black trans fluid

I would suggest in wetter/humid climates doing the brake fluid once a year. Here in Texas, its not that big a deal for the brake fluid (not as much moisture is absorbed). On my daily driver (96 ES300, I know, not a M body) I change my transmission fluid as stated above. Changed the brake fluid...

    The FMJ Weather Channel

Not to bad. I've had harder starting cars in warmer weather! My ex got the Charger (really need to remove it from my signature) so I'm back to daily driving the 96 Lexus ES300. The starter hangs up in cold weather, but I would to if I had 289K+ miles...

    The FMJ Weather Channel

Been in the low 50's or so the past week, supposed to be upper 60's to low 70's this weekend, though the mornings are usually in the 20's. There have been a few days with high temps only in the 20's, not to many though. Its West Texas, so the temps are always going up and down during the winter...

5 wire ignition vs. 4 wire

I use a Mallory unit. I also use a relay so it gets a steady 12V. 40K miles with no failure. One of the main reasons they last better in a non-stock application (non GM) is you take the modal away from what kills it: Heat and vibration. Mine is mounted on the fender on a aluminum heat sink base...

5 wire ignition vs. 4 wire

Go HEI. Better system and more reliable than the crap you get for Mopar stuff nowadays.

Velvet Underground's influence can still be seen today. Hell of a legacy.
