Anybody Else Use "Vintage" License Plates?

WOW!! ...it might be best to just say they got stolen!

Anybody Else Use "Vintage" License Plates?

Michigan rules says the plates belong to the state and must be returned to Sec. of State, but in 40yrs I've never-ever never-never-ever seen any returned, and I've still got most of my old plates! Even now with the State making you replace your regular plate every 10yrs (because they're cheap...

Anybody Else Use "Vintage" License Plates?

Yea, can't use them as daily drivers...*BUT*, you can usually have a good excuse/reason--taking out for repairs or showing for a possible sale... My 67 Skylark went on many repair trips last year!

Anybody Else Use "Vintage" License Plates?

Similar here in Michigan, called "Authentic" -- have to mail picture of plate (plate must have correct year sticker if it was a sticker plate), proof of insurance to Lansing Sec. of State, a check for 35$, and vehicle is registered for as long as you own the car. You could also go with the...

FOUND 79 Dodge Diplomat Wiring Harness for Dash

I've got one out of an 82or3 Imperial, but these cars had the digital clusters and EFI so I'm sure nothing except the bulkhead going thru the firewall is the same...I'm also sure the pin-outs were different, but I have the complete schematics for the Imperials...

I Mid-Michigan, between Flint and Saginaw. It's for 81-83 Imperial, removing the FI system and replacing with carb. Most of these cars were converted by the dealership shortly after they got out on the road because they were extremely problematic. There was a whole conversion kit by the...

    82 Imperial "replacement Parts Car"

When I told my brother the blue 82 WOULD NOT be his parts car, he sent me to pick out another "parts car", so I got this white 82... A rust free *SOLID* Texas car, but whole interior is sun-baked burnt/shot. Previously converted to carb, yet unknown if it was properly done--I can see that it had...

    82 Imperial "parts Car"

Told my brother no, this will not be your parts car, it's gonna be Dad's car! It's BEAUTIFUL, but had been sitting in inside storage for 10, if not 15or20yrs...! I convinced my brother to go buy another parts car (from an Imperial collector estate sale), which I'll touch base on in another...

How many grounds can one have?

Anybody have a schematic of the fuel injection/carb swap harness? I've got the factory conversion folder, which shows *some* fuse block cavity modifications, but it's pretty vague otherwise, and there's no schematics, just new harness part #... I can make a harness if I had a diagram!
