Why can't I get my axle in all the way after a rebuild, they go in the sure grip

Were can I find information on rebuilding my 8.25 cone type sure grip? Taking it apart is the easy part,setting backlash,ect.

i have the seats and carpeting out,floor pans look good,wondering if i should undercoat everything before putting back together?
