Oh yeah ... I remember those .. looked like a hair dryer under there .. lol .. too bad the outer holes weren't the same. Well plan "A" was to use speaker boxes anyways, but my will do's are always bigger then my can do's.

Thanks ... you people are too kind, it's not how messy things are it's how you hide the mess .. lol ..... can anyone point me to how I can get more leg room .. I feel kinda cramped so close to the steering wheel and all. I was thinking of just drilling new holes rear of where they are but wonder about the safety or even if it can be done, can't find threads on it or extensions for our cars.

Oh, thanks .. that's good to hear b/c I've been considering it, but for looks .. didn't realize it made a difference in seating tho ... any chance you have a pic? Mind you, I'm looking at the new year for anymore changes .. lol .. I figured the seat move as being a no or low cost change.

Thanks for the complement. I'm a firm believer that we learn by doing. To many car videos edit out the ooops, and the problems, and make everything look rosy, and easy. I believe in showing it all so you see what you are getting into, and what to expect.

I have really enjoyed the steering wheel. It is such an improvement over the stock wheel.

Well ... most people would tell you I'm thick as a brick ... my buddy who gave me the radio walked me through the speaker install .. I'm not good at "by the seat of your pants" stuff .. I was trying to install speakers from the trunk he says why don't you reach in from the parcel shelf <<<< see what I mean!! .. I don't know what I would of done in your case .. noticed that Grant wheels don't have an install kit for the F body tho, and my column looks similar size wise??
