tf - tc kit

Hi Guy's,

I have sitting in my parts box a Superior transmission kit for s 904 lock up, its changes the pressure inside the trans and ups the speed the lockup comes in. Looks like a shift kit to me. Anyway has anyone used one before and what did you think?

Should be a quality kit, I have used some of their products

I've heard of those. Never used one but I hear they're good.

I've never used this particular product but I have heard good feedback about it. Keep in mind that these usually offer two options:

1) improve the as-is configuration, that would be some line pressure changes, overlap minimize (2nd to 3rd shift), prevent converter drain-back in Park, etc
2) improve performance, by affecting the shift points, re-routing some of the fluid flows, etc, these mods usually require some modifications to the valve body itself or just the separator plate, maybe some shift valve modifications or replacement of a few pressure springs

Either way, not a big job, but you have to be absolutely meticulous...clean, clean, clean...!!!
