So close, yet so far. 1.5"- 2.0" off the driveshaft should do it. Measurement from a bottom out trans yoke to the rear end is 55".

Make sure you end up with the trans yoke positioned correctly when sitting at ride height.

It's in. Still need to adjust the rear shoes a little.
Still a good 2 inches between the 245/60R-14's.

Mice don't like drier sheets. Good to know thank you.Dryer sheets, mice hate them.

Mice don't like mothballs either.
I finally resorted to empty soda bottles with holes poked in them and filled with mothballs.
Tied a bottle in the engine compartment.
The mice stay away from the hood insulation although it did seem to confuse the new guy at the oil change place.

Prepping for fair weather time.
Up on the rack for front brakes and rotors. Because I'm too lazy right now to do it myself.
Biggest thing for the Mirada this year will be sure grip and 2.94's. Engine will wait till next winter.
