Went quite a few days with no rain but made up for it last night. Thunder, lightning and rain,,,,,,,,,,,holy crap rain, and rain, and rain, and rain. Looks to be about 3" came down. Figured something was brewing, yesterday was around 90 and very muggy. perfect breeding ground for a storm.

Odd thing is, it's warmer right now at 5:45am (74, headed for upper 80's) than the predicted high of 69 tomorrow. Up and down, up and down. Pick a temp and go with it already!

The rain isn't drying up very fast today. It had quit when I got up at 4:30am (for some reason,,,,,,,,,,on a weekend) but at 9am everything is all damp yet. The sun is out, light breeze and 77 degrees but,,,,,,the humidity is 84%. Just a TAD on the muggy side, wouldn't you say?

Was out at 8:30 this morning mowing the lawn; you can do that in the country without annoying your neighbors. It will be to hot this afternoon; and I wanted to get it done before the rain.

We had rain this past week, some of it heavy, but the grass is dieing, and my wife's flowers are looking really sad. I am not sure what is up with the flowers this year; we water them every day, but they are just not looking good at all.

Finished mowing my lawn this morning before it got TOO hot. Started around 9:00 but I live in suburbia. However, with that friggin' 8 lanes of freeway 100 yards away, a walk behind lawnmower isn't going to bother anyone.

Actually it's a lot nicer out now. Kind of wished I would have waited until this afternoon to mow. Temp is in the mid 80's but the humidity just kind of vanished in the last couple hours. Dropped from 84% at 9am to 28% now at almost 1pm. The sky went from hazy clear to the deepest blue I've seen in a while. Probably helps too that all the rain last night washed the smog out of the air.

Try and figure this one out. Saturday was 90, Sunday was mid 80's, today it barely hit 65 and tonight they say it could drop into the 30's for a low. WTF?
I have to be honest, it's fricking cold outside, relatively speaking (56) especially with that north west wind. I'm seriously considering flipping the furnace power switch back to "on" pretty soon to take the chill off in here.
Gotta love that Wisconsin weather or go insane (or more insane) I guess.

At least we're back to normal here. We were in the high 90's here. Actually kissed 100 yesterday but today's high is 75°

Thank you! I hate the heat like that.

Woke up to a balmy 39 this morning but with clear skies, bright sunshine and no wind it warmed up nicely to the mid 70's. Next few look darn nice too, aside from Thursday, along with the upcoming (for us Americans anyway) 3 day weekend!

You celebrate Independence Day with us?:p

Actually, we will celebrate our country being around for 240 years despite our governments attempts to destroy it.

Had another beautiful one. Sunshine, very light breeze, upper 70's. I'd like it to be another 10 degrees warmer but,,,,,,,,,,for working on cars (at work) these temps are pretty nice. Nothing like opening the hood of a car that just came in off the Interstate on a 95 degree, humid day:D

Oh, Canada day (pun intended) is Friday. South of the border, we get Monday off. Either way, a 3 day weekend is a 3 day weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our t-storms, possible high winds and hail never materialized. Radar showed bands of red and purple coming at noon time but they must've fizzled out. All we got was just enough sprinkles to be irritating. Not real warm though, high 60's with no sunshine.
Next 4 days, sun, 75-80 degrees, light winds,,,,,,,,paradise. Nature screwed up, no way you're supposed to have nice weather on a holiday weekend. It just isn't allowed (it seems).

Captain is headed for the trailer!

Actually no.
I usually pass on the long weekends now and just blow a day off on a normal weekend and make a long one. Long weekends it takes at least twice as long to get there (6 hours as opposed to just under 3) and the park is full of inbreds. I'll stay in town and drive the piss out of my cars instead.

Same as yesterday here. High 70's and gorgeous.

Capt has parades to see.
Fri is the Trans parade, followed by Sat's Dyke parade, followed by Sun's Gay pride.
Weather is pretty gay.

Lol......
You couldn't pay me to go downtown this weekend. I hope none of the transitioners lose a prosthetic. That could be embarrassing.

LOL! I heard we've got one of those happening downtown this weekend too! More power to them I suppose.
I always thought it would be cool to organize a straight pride parade.:D

I spoke too soon yesterday about the storms fizzling out. About 6:30pm it got very dark and the skies opened up. Rained so hard you'd almost drown if you walked outside. Came down for a while too.

Today though,,,,,,,,mostly sunny, very light breeze and made it up to 78 degrees. Started kind of nipply at 44. Something just feels so wrong about driving to work on July 1st with the heater on.
