Get ahold of Ross here or on FABO and see what he'll charge you to restore your hinges.

Do you have worn door hinges? Let me rebuild them for you
As some of you know I rebuild door hinges for people, recently I have had to change my methods a little due to parts supply but it is for the best because now they are stronger and better then ever before!

Pricing is as follows for any standard mopar: A,B,E,F

$70 a side (top and bottom) or $130 both sides (top and bottom) + $15 shipping for the return ride. $50 core charge will be added if bought outright.

What you get for your money:

* Media blasted clean
* Epoxy primer in your choice of gray or flat black or left bare
* New pins in all hinges
* New brass bushings on both top hinges
* Star wheels removed, repaired and reinstalled
* Springs repaired
* Assembled and and sent back to you labeled for position

The reason they are not greased is so you can paint them to match your car then use a spray lube type grease for long life.

Paypal Preferred, Money order is accepted.

Thanks a bunch

Another way-
A buddy of mine who operates a machine shop rebuilt mine for me. He drilled out the old pin and replaced it with a grade eight hardened bolt with a long enough shoulder on it to span the entire length of the hinge. To make it look good he cut the threads and rounded the bolt head on a lathe. After I had the body shop paint it it looks stock.

This thread was before my time (here) but,,,,,,,,,and don't shoot me please, I used a hinge pin and bushing kit from Mr. G's (I think it was) and yes, it's technically for a GM. Drilled the oblong holes to the correct round size and pressed the bushings in. Works good.
