We managed a whole 66 yesterday. At least the rain finally stopped around noon.......Cleared up about 7pm, just in time to see the sun for 45 minutes before it went below the horizon.:( Day light is getting way to short already.
Nice and sunny today though, got to low 70's after starting at a downright chilly 47 this morning. There's something that seems so wrong seeing your breath in August.

That unconfirmed tornado touched down, down the road from me ... mind you that's at least a mile or so away .. funny tho I was on the porch watching it rain at the time and besides it being windier than usual didn't think anything was amiss. My backyard buts up to 20 or so acres of farmland so wind is a constant. Scary over how fast it happened .. funnel cloud over the Detroit River reported crosses the river then touchdown here.

And even though there's pictures galore of the tornado environment Canada is studying the data to see if there was a tornado. o_O

So what you're saying is your government operates the same as ours does:rolleyes:

We got partly cloudy, high of 78 today and semi-windy. An entire day with not a single drop of rain. This calls for a celebration. No rain forecast tomorrow either(!) but not to worry,,,,,,,,100% chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday. One guess what it shows for Monday. Yep, clear, sunny and 76 degrees. Figures.............................. Of course, then Tuesday and Wednesday the forecast shows rain. Seriously? What the flippin' flappin' with the bleeping rain this year? ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well maybe .. we got the warning from Detroit weather stations .. and yes Environment Canada is studying the data ... growing up in the '60's i remember the weather warning sirens .. but no more.

I'm not sure. Other than the first sentence,,,,,,,,Aspen500 didn't say the other things. Computers are our friends, they make our lives easier, right???????????

It's been 2 full days with no rain and just like clockwork, rain on the way for later tonight. Man this is getting really old, really quick. NO MORE RAIN.:mad::mad:

Actually today was a beautiful day to work. Partly sunny, very little wind, high of 75 and no humidity to speak of.

Already warmer than it got all of Saturday. Not sure about the rain thing though. It keeps going from totally clear to totally overcast, then back to clear every 15-20 minutes since sunrise. Will I go to the car show this afternoon or won't I????? Don't want to jinx it so I'll shut up now, lol.

Pretty decent weather here with partly sunny, around 80 degrees, light wind but still really humid. 12 miles to the south where the car show is,,,,,,,,,heavy rain, thunder, lightning, strong winds. No car show today I guess.:(

Has been heat index of 105 to 107 all day.. til 2:55 pm ... then temp dropped 20 degrees and rain is coming down in bucket loads... You can't see the pond from the house.
Glad I got the hoses moved early this morning on the Chrysler.

The past couple days here have been darn nice. Kind of nipply in the morning though (49 yesterday and 54 today) but it warmed into the low 70's with partly cloudy skies and basically no humidity along with a light breeze.
When I say "nice", I mean nice for working. Now, if you wanted to go to the beach or something it might be different.

Kuwait, the number 1 choice for a vacation spot these days, lol.

Seems weird outside right now. There is absolutely zero wind, dead calm, and that's unusual around here. The trees look like still photo's. Seems there's always at least a little breeze in this area. Only 56 (6am) but it's supposed to be around 80, low humidity and mostly sunny later on. Works for me!

Fall is in the air.
First day since April I put long pants on.
It was 49F.

Also first day in a long time I don't have any A/C's going in the house.

Absolutely gorgeous here up north.
Mid 40's overnight and mid 70's in the day. Starting to get very fall like. My favorite time of year.

I guess "up north" they had frost here in Wisconsin a couple nights ago. By up north I mean like waaaaaaaaaay up towards Lake Superior. Too early for that crap. Only been down to upper 40's a couple times so far in this area. A little bit depressing is some trees are dropping leaves already. It's way too early for that crap as well.:(

Looking at the forecast, it ain't fall yet(!) Unfortunately, after 7 days in a row (so far) of no rain, looks like it makes a triumphant return later this week.

We are down to mid-90's now. Probably no more 100+ days thank goodness.
Course the humidity is way high today because of the rain clouds that keep skirting us.

I was going to weld my posts for automatic gate opener but 1) lost daylight since the sun is setting so early now and 2) sweat kept dripping down and mucking up my glasses. I hate having to wear glasses now just to do close up work. Bleh....

I hear you Justwondering! I got bifocals a few months ago and have never gotten totally used to them. Always seems like whatever I'm doing is too close for the "far away" part of the lens, but too far away for the "up close" part. Sigh...............I've said before and I'll say it again, getting older really sucks the big one.:(
