Dark, foggy, the trees are covered in a frosty white and it's 31 degrees. Forecast is partly cloudy and a high of 42. Well, it's almost 11am and sunset is 4pm so it better do something in the next 5 hours. I'm not very confident of hitting 42.:(

Been raining since 3:48 this morning... and its a welcome thing.
We'd already run through both the 2500 and two 1500 gallon tanks due to less than normal rain this fall.

Was 40 degrees when I got up at 5:30 am, it was 40 degrees at noon and it was 40 degrees when I got home from work at 5pm. Temp never moved a single degree. Fog, mist, drizzle, light to heavy rain with frequent downpours all day (and it's still raining). Didn't even seem like daytime it was so dark out. The streetlights never shut off. A dark, dreary, cold, wet, raw miserable day. Forecast shows roughly the same thing for the next few days.
Guess it's not SO bad. It's rain,,,,,,,,,,,,not snow.

The ground is white and it's bleeping cold out. Only been upper teens/low 20's past few days with off and on snow and up until today,,,,,,,,,,WIND. I mean like 15-30 mph. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I just KNEW there'd be payback for the nice warm November we had.
It gets worse. Doesn't next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday look nice?:(

Holy Crap Batman!
Its going to get down to 20 tonight and back up to 64 on Sunday.
I can't imagine living somewhere that the temps stay that low for that long...

I'm liking my North Texas weather more and more.

Snowed 3 inches here on Monday (It almost never snows here), then we got an arctic outflow that came in. High today was 32 and low was 18. Snow is supposed to start tonight at midnight and continue all night and all day tomorrow. Saturday it`s supposed to warm up to 34 and be mixed rain and snow. Up to 8 inches of snow expected. Traffic should be wonderful. No-one here has a clue how to drive at the best of times let alone in snow. Took me 2 and a half hours to get home on Monday for what is normally a half hour drive.

We got hit hard.
It's a 'Code Majenta' which would be a 'Class 5 Death Storm' in the old system.
Don't want to see a code red.

Pulled the plows and sanders off the road, which makes driving a demolition derby.
Last bus leaves downtown at 12am.
I think they are stopping the trains at 8pm
Police station closes at 10:30pm

I just went from work, to the bank, home and there were wrecks and cars sliding in front of me trying to wreck me.

Justwondering, there was a stretch in January in (I think) 1990 or '91 where the WARMEST it got for 2 weeks straight was -20. Of course it was windy every single day too. Windchills as low as -60. You'd have loved it, I know I didn't.

Colder than a witches,,,,,well you know (it's 12 right now) and oh joy of joys, snow coming Saturday or Sunday into Monday morning. I've heard estimates of 2-4" up to 8-10" "depending on how the storm tracks". Sigh........................

We had the coldest night in 2 years, got to 21 last night. lol
Gonna be 68 to 70 on Saturday which will be the last warm enough day to lay concrete this year (I expect). Monday's gonna be 63 but its a doctor visit day so I experience it through the window of the car, window of the waiting room and window of the doctor office. If things work out right, I'll get to have lunch cooked by someone else.
Gonna be a great three days I think... no snow, no ice, no freezing.

I was thinking his computer (or weather station, or whatever) has frozen/quit, until it warms up.

I was being literal. It was zero, zip, nada, big goose egg, nil. No matter what you call it, it's just plain cold.
There have been days where I feel as if I'm in limbo however.

Have 4 months to tough out.

Have a double whammy coming Sunday and then Monday, if the one we just got isn't bad enough.
They pulled the plows off the road and they might not get out until Tuesday.
They already said they're pulling the buses at 11pm on Sunday.
