    727 swap

As the guys already pointed out, the 727 is longer, so your driveshaft is shorter. Here are some specs to compare the two (and more).

    Well This Sucks!!

Excellent advice...a tear-drop shape cutter would get in there for the final finish!!!

NOT MINE: 1980 Cordoba at Pick-N-Pull in Northern CA

Someone should grab the bumpers...i am guessing just light pitting, so easy to re-finish and a genuine 'gold find' for the mid-west folks where it's all been eaten away by good old O2.

    Well This Sucks!!

I know it's a tight fit in there, but could you get at it with even a Dremel cut-off wheel just enough to cust through that blob? Heck, enough so that you could then put a little beating on it with a cold chisel to completely split it?

    318 to 360

Reggie is, as always, spot on. I will say this: for my liking I would prefer to use some nice thick washers to give that mating area a larger surface 'connection'. There is something about that thin little spacer in this installation that just doesn't put my mind at ease! lol

Brake booster and master cylinder combo

OK, so given your model year and I'm guessing a 4 bolt MC setup, check out this Cardone "bad boy", literally the equivalent setup to what I have in my Coupe, but a 4 bolt MC config (Vacuum Power Brake Booster - 54-73309)

Brake booster and master cylinder combo

uggghhhhh...I LIKE!!! So here is the thing, when I re-did the brakes on my Coupe I installed Cardone 54-73370, but even than (which is a dual-chamber booster, 10.75" 9.0" diameter) I still have just a tiny amount of room between the booster body and the valve covers. Therefore....while I dread...

    Torque converter suggestions

Just to baseline the conversation: why do you think you need an aftermarket converter for this stock combination?

Misfire when light throttle and sparks fouling - Help needed

OK, good to know b/c you could turn the timing down a tad, so w/o the light hooked up you basically adjust for a slightly lower vac signal, and test with that setup. ....take it for a ride and see if the hesitation is still there, if gone, then the culprit appears to be the mix of idle & mech...

How much back'n'forth room are you shooting for with the crank?

    M Body with a slant 6 thoughts?

This, I would suggest, depends entirely on your intended use. If you want a reliable "from point A to point B" transport, yup, that'll do it. If you want an exhilarating "from point A to point B" transport, nope, that won't do it.

Misfire when light throttle and sparks fouling - Help needed

What's the timing like? By that I mean: initial, followed by how many degrees advance at what RPM?...also, what is the VAC advance set up like? The firing order on a SB Mopar is: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, you found 8-4-3-7 to be fouled...seems like there is a bit of a sequence match here. Assuming a...

    Dual Exhaust or Big Single

The exhaust was entirely done by a local race shop, so custom work all around. Having said that, some of the piping did come out of a SummitRacing H-kit I picked up, thought it would have been an 'almost fit' on my coupe, but didn't like at all how ad-hoc the piping ended up once test-fitted...

    Dual Exhaust or Big Single

You know, I always wonder about just how much backpressure is in the system? A while back as my brain was short-circuiting on this very thing I looked around for some low-psi pressure sensors that I could hook up to my Innovate data capture box...never found anything (but it was a...

Unless you insist on having stock appearing exhaust tips, may I suggest the behind the wheel option? 3", x-pipe here...sounds great!

    Weatherstripping source?

Not a rejuvenator type of a fix-it, but one of my routines for the winter prep of the family cars is to lube up all the soft weatherstriping with silicone spray lubricant...it takes longer as I spray a cloth and then apply, otherwise it would be a horrible mess. Anyways, that seems to have...

    Retirement!

Congrats...enjoy the free time! I will tell you this though: whenever I have some free time here (such as the current Christmas Holidays - I work for an Auto Supplier, so there is a standard Christmas shutdown that we go through each year) I always plan on doing a TON of work on my Mopar...yup...

this is what i'm busy with

c'mon, spill the beans: so what are the specs here? (unless of course it's that "race secret" stuff, in which case I completely respect that) btw: I genuinely am curious about the clearances you are running, assembly specs, etc.
