Some of those interchange numbers are implemented in online stores. I tend to use Rockauto first searching, re-searching part numbers, cross checking on partsbooks back-and-forth. Buckle up is good advice. :) But, that's only on some more basic technical parts. Moldings and such niceties are...

Resistor in parallel with empty tank will give around 54 ohms. (75+33)/2 -> 54 ohms. That could work.

Neither do I. Looking at the switch pictures of the different version at Rockauto - w / wo tilt and w / wo cornering lights these switches look utterly different... (beside the additional connector). Weired wiring. :)

Lately, I heard of a lot of "returned packages" (to the US, by some customs agents), because it (the product) was suspected not to comply with rule blah-blah... One example: if steel products are not declared as "made in USA" they will most likely not find their way to Europe, because Chinese...
