A friend & I traveled to NC from Texas to purchase a complete set of Volare F body glass from Bridger Bollinger last weekend. He is a stand up guy & a great all around person. If anyone need any FM&J parts, contact him, he is very reasonable on his prices & great to deal with.

Do all of the other gauges work? If not, try checking the IVR, if it has one. The temp sensor should be located on the front of the intake, close to the thermostat housing. If you have a service manual, it should show you where it is & what it looks like.

Did you build the big block Volare, or did you buy it? I'm asking because a friend & I are in the process of putting a stroked 440 in a 79 Volare. Pictures of the engine bay would be helpful.

See if there is a FSM with the wiring diagram in it, or see if there is another vehicle with a compatible wiring harness that you can buy.

Poly urethane bushings will squeak for you, poly graphite is the better bet. All of them need to be installed correctly by the manufacturers instructions. Many people cut corners & don't read them, big mistake as far as I'm concerned. I've been working around & on cars for over 50 years & used...

FYI, usually part numbers ending in odd numbers go on the left drivers side of the vehicle & those ending in even numbers go on the passengers side.

FYI, there has been an on going discussion on FABO about fuel sending units. The general consensus is that the aftermarket senders are junk. The best suggestions that came up was sending ones original sender to Wolf & Company to have it rebuilt.
