It's hard for me to believe that it's totally rust free. Remember that these cars rust just sitting still. Arizona is a dry climate until it snows on it. Thanks for posting Alleyoop2. I would however check it out with cash in hand if I were closer.

Do you find that F bodies are worse for rust that M's or J's?

How do they compare to earlier A bodies for rust?

Just askin' :icon_exclaim:

Never had an F myself but everything I've read says that Chrysler did have a lot of rust issues (particularly with the F' s.)

I would definitely take Eric' s advice and go over it before I bought it.

Does look good from here...
But pics CAN be deceiving.

The 80's are the best year for the F bodys as far as rust goes. Ive owned many F's and the quality of the 80's sheetmetal was always better. Everything can be bolted on to make it look like an earlier model. Thats what Im doing with my wagon...As far as A bodies? I seen more rusted out than the early F's

exactly an 80 is your better bet as far as rust like wagonmaster said bolt on a earlier style nose and rear bumper and there ya go

AZ cracked dash.
Yes it has a cracked dash but alot cheaper and easier than replacing rusted panels. I know I lived in ohio and now az. Interior is the easiest thing to replace and also depends how long the car has been back east.:happy7:

Slant six car? About $1000 to much...

Hey...
Don't be knocking the Leaning Tower Of Power Dude.

IMO if she's clean, I'd fess $1500 for that.

Actually does anyone know what kind of madness is involved in buying a US car and bringing it into Canada?

I don't like slants either but that car is worth close to what they are asking if its as clean as it looks in the pictures.

I'm not knocking slants.....daily drove one for 13 years in a '72 Satellite Custom. Paid $500. Slants are cheap where I come from because there are still alot around. Just can't see paying that much for a 6 cylinder car. It is nice though.

It is a nice looking ride.
I'm looking for another one too.
$1000-$1200 would be about right IF it's as nice as it looks.
I just don't know how much of a nightmare it is to buy one in the US and bring it across the border. I've heard it's a big hassle.
