Antenna Socket with wire for Volare

Hi !

Has anybody a antenna socket with good chrome ?

I have just thrown out a defective motor-antenna from Motorola.
I don´t think it´s original.
I have a original antenna, but the chrome is not good anymore.

So, maybe somebody has a used one, still looking good.

Adrian...look for one from an older car...they are all about the same...go to eggbay and see if you can find an NOS one or use the NOS listed suppliers I have in the sticky

The bezel takes a special socket tool that has four teeth to fit in the notches...I bought one off of eggbay...the flats on the attenna take a 1/2" wrench I believe

I bought that tool as well as the one for the dash. The dash one works like a charm; haven't used the antenna one yet (got it just in case lol)

I used a waterpumptong with some rag to save the chrome ( the rest of the chrome *lol*)
The Antenna is getting very hard into the socket. (In the pic You see, its only skrewed in half the way it would belong)

I´ll try to get a wrench cutter in 1/2 inch.
Maybe I can fix the wrench.

Adrian I have an complete antenna assembly with excellent chrome if you still need one. $30 plus shipping. Includes everything, wire to mast.
Shipping to Germany is no problem, done it several times!
