I don't have any recommendation.
I looked into shippers when I was considering a purchase from virginia.
You can go the established route with the decision of enclosed or open trailer... usually a consolidator that lets bids to several companies..
I recently discovered citizenshipper.com which is a very different business model but might be what you are looking for. It has companies and individuals that bid for your business.
Be warned though, I got a ton of text messages when I tried it.
Also, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to cancel an unneeded shipping request.
But if you try it, please let us know how it works out.
