Mopar ignition orange box,

New dizzy - mopar

New Throttle cable - OEM

Edelbrock Performer series 750 - brand new

The cam is
COMP Cams 20-813-9 - Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

So I think 750 is going to workout just fine.

My friend who owns the car is not sure it is going to run by Christmas.

The 750 and the cam go together, but on what block, heads, intake, etc.? That's a whole bunch of camshaft...

stroked & bored 318 out of another project . Heads have some work, but I don't have all that info handy. The motor was built a few years back. The original 318 in the car was a low mileage engine, but started to run hot so we pulled it.

If this is the same engine on which you're attempting to mock up the throttle and choke, I can already tell you this combo is badly over-cammed.

390 cubes. I really would like to see that cam get a turn in something punched bigger, but it is what it is. I do have a cam of mine that is a hydro- non roller type that was still worth something ( not damaged). just not new. It was in a ramcharger that was pushing 400 plus horses on 44 inch tires. We'll see how the thumper works and if not- there is the used back up.
