I’m game.
It’s about -4 celsius here and my car’s been sitting for about 14 hours.
I’ll make a video when I get home later this afternoon.

Okay, when I get home tonight, I'll fire up my wagon. It's sitting outside, covered in snow and hasn't been started in about 3 weeks.

If I could post the video, I would. Deleted my You-Tube acct a few months ago. Don't ask but, I had my reasons. Same reasons I also deleted my FB acct around the same time.

There isn't a way to upload the video directly from my computer to this site, is there???

Aspen500, for me only Youtube account and some different forums no FB sites anymore. I think video file would be to large to send it by email. But ever heard of WeTransfer ?
Great snow cold start 78volarewag. Starts just like every casual morning.
80mirada gen3 Hemi startup is also good to go.

Cold start this afternoon. Had been sitting for a day and it’s about 37 degrees out today. Had to record this a couple times during the week before I realized, I needed to take my phone out of its case so I could get half decent audio lol

Oh yes, my friend.
I have a new Dana Spicer limited slip, 3.21 gear & pinion and fresh bearings all ready to go in. Just waiting for a good time to get the brake components so I can throw it all into the car at once. I wanted to have it done last month but, life gets in the way of things sometimes; Hopefully, it will all be done and in the car by Spring this year.

Rear disc? Don't forget to replace the proportion valve with a distribution block.

Oh, it is on the list. There’s a real nice Charger build I was watching for awhile and I’d be a liar if I didn’t say, I want to recreate it. A lot of Wilwood parts with a real nice in cab, brake bias adjustment under the dash...It’s a 3 pedal conversion too, but I won’t be going that route myself; lucky duck.
Similar to yourself, a well planned manual brake conversion has been on my mind. I only want to spend big money on brakes once lol

Removing the rear axles are not easy and best to be done one (1) time, so doing both repairs (limited slip and brakes) at the same time is a good game plan.
One thing to look for on the 8¼” axle shafts are the area where the wheel bearing rides at.
8.25 axle.jpg

If this surface is discolored or if it will catch a fingernail then you WILL need to replace the wheel bearings while the axles are out. The good news is the axles are still useable (if damaged by the bearing) - if you use the new design of offset wheel bearing(s).
If an axle is bent, then no – time to toss (or repurpose).

Normal (8¼”) axle bearing (and seal – which is normally a separate part).

Or the new style offset bearing

Wow, three petals and neither of them which won’t help you change gears.

It looks like one of those is a cylinder for a hydraulic clutch. I'm guessing...

one pedal is a clutch...”three pedal conversion” you guys know of any car with two brake pedals? I sure don’t...that other pedal is a clutch (hence I wouldn’t be going that exact route)
