I didn't know my up-n-over roof band was a "silencer". I guess no one will hear me when I'm flying down the road at irresponsible speeds.

So, the ribbed trim around the roof is a sound deadener, huh? At 35lbs apiece, that's a heavy silencer...

It's not talking about the trim band....I think it has to do with the headliner.

I believe the "roof silencers" they are referring to are those large pieces of compressed shredded cardboard glued to the inside of the roof skin.

Same as "C-pillar Silencer Bats", which are little plastic bags of shredded paper stuffed inside the C-pillar.

On a separate note.

"High Strength Steel Reinforcement Armature."
"Urethane Foam Energy Manager"

Pretty fancy wording for "Foam Covered Bumper". :laughing9:
