OK, so other than running one heater hose from the water pump to the fire wall and then the other the same. Where does this doohickey go? Yes, I called it a doohickey. As I help my friend and his wife put their wagon back together, un labeled parts and uncertain parts are falling out of every hole. I can't remember how it looks under the hood. Any one have some good photos or guidance.

Thanks man. He has that part you show on the original hose. I suspect there are parts here that don't belong. There are other obvious Merc parts mixed in as well 73 Fury parts. Some how the oil dip stick tube is for a van as well the trans dip stick tube, but the valve cover is not from a van and the fluid sticks themselves are the normal shorter type for a car.......... Sloppy parts managing on my friends part. This is where we must "label, label, label" everything that gets removed in a teardown.

That one pictured, Looks like the one that goes on my 70s Dodge Trucks.

While we are on the subject, where can you find the Heater Control Valves
that have the clip like the factory ones. I put a new regular one on my 80 Coupe.
I like the way the factory one clips to the support rail.
