Hi, all. I am so glad to find this site! I have owned my Mirada since the mid-nineties and it unfortunately has the usual rear body rot issues. It's been sitting idle for a good many years.
I haven't had the time or money to put into it but I couldn't bear to part with it by any means. It's in original condition except for the steering wheel and stereo and missing center caps.

The long term plan is to completely restore it to like new condition with a few engine modifications.

Regards to all fellow Mopar Nuts!

Thanks for the welcomes! She's been in the garage since '02 and is kinda covered up right now but as soon as it warms up a bit the plan is to roll her out and clean her up and take inventory of the bare necessities to get her roadworthy. I'll take some pics then and get 'em posted. The first thing is replacing the heater core, which is why she got parked to begin with. I'm sure the tranny seals will be shot, too. I just hope the mice haven't taken a huge toll! We'll see.

Haha. That little beast developed a great many problems from being ridden so hard. The worst was the electrical system shorting out the headlights. The header panel got cracked. It got rear-ended and the RR fender cap and tailgate were never right from then on. It just refused to re-start one day at a convenience store so it got tow-chained to the house and parked on the carport. I forgot the coolant wasn't 50/50 and one winter busted the heater core and the floorboards were flooded and I still don't know whether the block was ok at that point. I wanted to keep it but it needed way too much re-hab. We moved in '02 and I just left it sitting there. It was the only vehicle I ever bought brand new, so it was a very sad ending to a story of true love.
