ANYONE HAVE PICS OF WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE ON A 1977 VOLARE.
I HAVE A LATCH & A ROD COMING OFF, BUT NOTHING THAT PROTRUDS TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR TO OPEN IT.
PARTS BREAK DOWN OR PICS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Bad info, thats how an aspen is set up, the volare bracket is placed into the grille itself. Look to the drivers side 1/2 way down and you will see the mounting points for the lever.

Not being harsh to you P61. :) They are just way different.

If you need the hardware, pm me.

I had it mounted on the lower inside bar of the dash, the approx 1 inch wide semi channeled metal bar that the lower drivers dash screws to.

It has the connection to go through the bulkhead as well. I cant find the lil allen set screw but im sure any hardware store has it.

Yes, do you have a latch? The one end fits in and then the cable holder area runs through and you slide the little eyelet up tight and tighten the set screw on the cable.

Let me look at some of the under hood latches, I think they are the same and all have provisions for the cable, but just when I say that I could be wrong so I will look.
