Hi Guys,

Well I didn't really want to pull my head off to have a look inside a perfectly good working used engine I bought. My friend at work bought a we endoscope camera that hooked to a mobile phone. He lent it to me and last night I started looking in her plug hole, what I found was I have a low compression engine, (I pretty much knew it would be all 360s are low compression) Anyway here is the picture I took you may find interesting.

FYI - You guys may not get the part "Piston In China" in NZ we say if you dig a big deep hole you will dig to China, so because the piston is so far down the bore saying the piston is in China means its way down deep in the bore!

Thanks
Bruce

Was that with piston at TDC (Top Dead Center)?

Did you look in any other cylinders?

I think when I have it all sorted she needs a good hot hard run to burn the piston tops and cylinder head clean!! If you have a low comp engine can it run more advance or is that nothing to do with it?
