Hate to say it but,,,,,,,,,,,certain areas of this city have some real "winners". Once in a while on the local news when they're doing a story about a shooting, stabbing, assault, random shots fired, arson (see a trend?) they always find the most inbred, redneck, unemployed welfare family to interview on camera. Not to stereotype but, those types of people, the areas with the heaviest serious crime, the houses that should be condemned, crap laying everywhere in the unkept yards...........................................I'm just saying.

travel 20 minutes outside of any major city and you can find some interesting country folk

Heh-heh, we have a saying around here. Actually a couple sayings. About 35 or so miles north is HWY 64 which runs east/west and another 35 miles north of that is HWY 8, also east/west.
Some people you see must be from "north of 64" and then more redneck yet gets a "north of 8". Different folks up there! There is one more and don't want to offend anyone from Michigan BUT,,,,,,,,,north of 8 is nothing compared with north of the border into Upper Michigan. Yikes.....................

Need to add a disclaimer. Despite the way I talk, 95% of people around here are just nice, ordinary, courteous, law abiding citizens. It's the 5% that need to be removed from the equation.
