Would anyone feel comfortable going 150-60 mph in an M body with stock front suspension configuration? 1/4 racing.

Not if it was wore out (like most 30-40 year old cars are)!

With good tires (speed rated), with bigger brakes 11¾" front/11” rear (or bigger) and with the rubber K-frame mounts changed to something more solid (Poly, iron or aluminum), then I’d be good with it.

Wait: 1/4 racing as in drag, circle track or something else?

The money it takes to build the power to push a airo brick 150 to 160 mph in a 1/4 mile and you going to use stock parts?
Wake up your dreaming!

Ima thinking 800hp might be close;BB and Turbos?
I was doing the slide rule calculator and at 3000lbs with driver not taking airo into the equation you need 800 hp for 150 a pass with a manual transmission, at 3500lbs your going to need 925 hp at 4000 LBS your going to need 1050 hp, these figures are at the rear tire.
Add 15 percent for crank horse power. Not cheep you can spend 75 K before you have a trailer to put it on.

Just for kicks and giggles
2500lbs car to run 8.5 160mph = 800 rwhp
3000lbs 8.5
160mph = 950 rwhp

YOUR not going to build power at this level in a OEM Mopar block! $$$$$

I can't comment on the raceweight of this Mirada...
But I was the pilot of a 3800 pound Mirada doing more than 150MPH on the street. 2.76 rear gears with a 518OD trans and 650+ flywheel HP.
I've only been 130MPH in the 1/4 mile, the simulated convertible top( fiberglass shell) doesn't like triple digit speeds... A little bit of Gaffers tape ran across the top of the windshield up over the leading edge of the sim-con top will keep things united.....
Don't ask me how I know... lol

The thing is it an get expensive and more difficult finding horsepower as power levels go up. Weight reduction frees up ET to the tune of 100 LBS = one tenth in reduction ET. It's not that the stock suspension cant but why would what to use it when a coilover setup or McPherson strut, (Strange ) front suspension replacing tortion bar's and front cross member with light components = going faster/quicker. Now I used my Moroso power speed calculator coming up with hp numbers and I know that ETs are fingered useing a efficient chassis.
So a stock flexy flyer with huge power will not cut it.

Expensive? Nah..... lol
Finding HP, blower and nitrous!
You can always add a bigger blower, more boost AND a bigger shot of spray!!

My 500" would do that to 4.86 pro gears!
150 press's had to pull them in with a new set untill I started useing synthetic gear lube.

Here , when I asked the original question, I thought that I would gather information about the +/-'s about improving the front suspension. Instead, a slide rule jockey starts informing me about how much HP I need to go 150 MPH. Thanks you for that information. How about any detailed suspension info? Just for the sake of formulas, my personal e58 360 undercover car pegged the speedometer at 150 MPH on the PA interstate on numerous occasions. It never felt safe at 120 but when duty calls....

Stock front suspension is excess weight and almost 40 years old.
I was trying to tell a that drive's nxs on interstates that horsepower, weight and speed go hand and hand and they all cost $$$.
YOUR request for information is vague at best so you get what you get.
