My insurance is only giving me $1000 if a daily driver M gets written off.
Then the $300 deduction, is it worth filing a $700 claim so they can jack the insurance premium up?

And that's why you need collector car insurance and a daily driver.

I paid $600 for my 86 F/A, but my rock bottom insurance is $666.....and I'm only gonna get $1000.
Me, I'm really not worried about hitting someone.

Rule of the road-NEVER trust the other driver as they have no clue as their 2 brain cells are going bad.
When on the track with professionals, then you can begin to trust.

That's why there's 'good' and 'bad' appraisals.

If you're going to pay tax on the car, you want a 'bad' appraisal, like $200.
If you want it for insurance, you need the 'good' appraisal.

And I hear there's LOT's of lowballers 'without cash' surfing C/L.

Yep. Pencil drawing appraisals to get a lowball for tax $50
The real deal for appraisal value is $200-$250.
Round here anyway.

The NADA is a price book for dealers. It gives them a trade or purchase value that allowes them to add markup on the re-sell of the trade-in vehicle.
Try the Kelly Blue book.....This is pricing is "For Sale by Owner" sell pricing...not trade in value like the NADA book.
That jackhole that brought the NADA book to your attention should be glad that this car is not sitting on a dealer lot where he would pay 2X your current asking price.
He is getting a deal bying it through you wholesale and not paying a dealer retail...... you have a fair price on the car so dont settel, get your asking price!
Just my 2 cents worth......

I'll drop that cool G on ya for it! I can make that back just stripping the plastic pieces off the exterior. ;)

I've got 7 insured with Hagerty, minimum valuation $3,500 @ total of $39K. $370yr. The more you have, the cheaper they are to insure. So get busy building garage space! You don't wana sell!
