New To me 1980 Cordoba

Hi.

I have been babbling on about a 1980 Cordoba, which I have never provided pictures for. I took the time to take some pictures, and they are below:

More exterior shots. The trim on the edges of the vinyl padded roof are going to be a real hassle to replace, when the time comes:

Passenger Side Door Panel. The Driver's side is similar, but a little bit wavier,

The car is a 318 4 barrel. Starts fine, but runs rough. Suspect that there is crud in the fuel tank/fuel lines/fuel filter and possibly carburetor.

Intent for now is to get it road worthy. Needs tires (obviously), a battery (there is a borrowed one in there now, also needs battery hold down,and a Thermoguard battery cover), and there is an oil leak (suspect oil filter gasket, but want to get it up on decent tires before I do anything mechanical. Interior carpet is filthy, need to clean that up, one small hole in seat uphotstry. Headliner separating in a few spots. Needs repaint and to have the vinyl roof replaced.

Disregard the straps going into the trunk. They were used to strap the card down to a trailer to bring it home, and the nylon webbing is caught between the two wire sides of the hook. I haven't gone in to try to get them released from the hooks. They will be off soon.

Car has 160000 Km (roughly 100000 miles) on it.

Yeah, I thought I had got rid of them all, I did get the other three out as soon as the car got home. The remaining one will be out soon. They came with the car, previous owner put them in. On the other hand, he also put in a full dual exhaust, all the way to the back, which is a positive. The mats will be coming out when I can figure out what to do with the carpet. It is mostly good, but has some dark spots on it that look bad. Still researching the best way to get the spots out without causing the carpet's color to come out with the spots.

This one is going to be a lot easier to get on the road, as the windshield doesn't have any cracks in it, there are not as many mechanical issues, and the body has a lot less rust. It is even more highly optioned than the Mirada. It has the tilt wheel and cruise control that the Mirada didn't. I still want to get the Mirada on the road, too, but the windshield is proving to be a real sticking point.
