there is nothing that sounds like a real hemi when you hit the key and she fires up and believe it or not this aspen is 100% canadian car
that is 100% rust free and all original

Really?

Seventh vin digit is R???
Never heard of a Canadian built F body.

Oil pan I used was just a stock center sump oil pan. No modifications needed. Center sump pans can be a little tricky to find but they are out there.

This project is off the charts. Very tasteful. Love that colour on the body. There are some talented and creative folks on these boards. It's good knowing that your knowledge will be accessible for others along the way.

well got the hemi in and it was a pain in the butt but it will be worth it in the long run and you need to remove the heater to get it in

Absolutely beautifully insane!
A hemi wagon
Wow!
You absolutely have to send this build to Mopar Action.
They'd run it for sure.

I feel too many people have lost interest in these engines and that's just not right these engine can make some great power and cost the same as building a healthy small block la engine and make a ton of torque the parts are not that expensive and 331 block can be easy to get and you can over bore it 125 thou and have a good 354 using a set of stock 354 pistons with higher compression a good 280 grind cam that will allow you to run it with carbs or a blower setup on the cheep so if you have a slant 6 think of droppin in a real HEMI and save these engines for others to see and enjoy

OK, you hooked me. What type of dyno power numbers can you get from early Hemi engines? What kind of money/ budget? Dollar per horsepower?

There is an aluminum 392 block coming out soon, and there are aftermarket heads available. The old A-block Hemi has a new lease on life.

a well built 331 or 354 will give you 500 hp and 490 ft pounds of torque a blow engine using the same parts 800+hp and 700ft pounds of torque and that's using all new parts and the stock steel crank
if you want more cubes 354 block with a 392 crank and a 125 thou overbore you can build a 400 cid low deck and make 1200 hp blown engine for 10 grand cheep for a heavy breathing HEMI
my engine cost me 7000 for everything all new parts with 450 hp
