The Pontiac looked like my first car I got to have. All black. My dad sold my real first car on me a 65 impala ss convt I had learned to paint on. It was a deal he could not refuse. The perils of having your father own a body shop. He would tell my mother all the time I just sold your car clean it out.
btw that is old

That happened awhile ago. Kind of surprised how the Poncho folded like paper from the hit though...

No real structural rigidity right there and it got the front 'face' of the momentum from the Lexus. Wonder how fast she was going?

I'd be mad enough to kill.

I did phantom flames on '55 Chevy 150 for a guy who also owned a '56 Chevy street rod pick up. He had just gotten the pick up on the road and was enjoying a nice cruise through town when a girl ran a stop light and t-boned him. He got out of the truck, went over to the car to make sure the girl was alright, and then took a walk.

When he got back, the cops were there, the wreckers were there, the paramedics were there. He walked over to his truck and started looking at it. The cop asked him if was the owner of the truck, to which he replied, "yes."

The cop said, "Where'd you go?"

"Took a walk."

The cop told him, "I could get you for leaving the scene of the accident."

My customer told him about just getting the truck back together and putting it on the road for the first time, "And if I hadn't taken a walk, you'd be arresting me for murder."

The cop didn't ticket him for leaving the scene.

I loved that story ramenth . Personally I've never had anything that nice ,but I have owned a few nice ones though.

Personal incident ; Dropping off a co-worker at his wife's place of work , after work . Pulled up , stopped , and this young driver starts backing out without so much as looking back . Bumped ! Or nudge my car with the tailrend of his . Then took off . Thing about the parking lot is that you have to drive around the the building to exit the property . I jumped out of my car and started chasing him across the lot sc,,,,,reaming at him to pull back in . He did . I jumped his butt about backing into my car and just taking off . All he said was I didn't see anything , I didn't feel anything . Standing 5'4" tall myself , and this kid standing right at 6'.0" did not matter to me . I knew if I'd laid 1 hand on him that I would've going to jail . He knew what he did . And got told about it . Btw , no damage was done to my car .

I can fully understand his logic.
It would be the only way I would be able to stop myself from making her eat the steering wheel....
