how easy is it to use that summit box? and about how much, im only using the L B untill i pull engine for the rebuild so no high cost parts... yet,lol thanks bremereric.... B T W love your aspen

Easy to wire up and not that expensive.

Mine is the newer style like the one pictured at the bottom in the above pic. Can one use the Summit box without changing the stock distributor and carb?

If it's a true US car then you have a Holley 6280 feedback carb
As far as I remember that needs to go...
And you'll need a new distributor....
The one on there now has the timing controlled by the computer.

Yes, 6280 feedback. Everything is working so far so good, but I may grab a dist and carb, and save up to get the Summit system, since I plan on keeping the car.
