Trip/Milage computer

Saw a gauge at Summit that quickened my pulse until I saw the installation kit. Does most of the functions of the Imp.'s trip/mileage computer. Then the install kit; hooks directly to your OBDII port! Boo hiss! Still looking for flow control valve to get mine functioning. Anyone know of another vehicle that can have their valve adapted? They had those kits in the 70's. I had one from Zemco I think. It had cruise, a clock, a temp in and out, mpg. mph, and other stuff I forgot. They show up on ebay sometimes. There were other brands also. They worked on magnets on the driveshaft and a gas flow meter goes in line of the gas line

I have one of the Direct Connection Performance Computers brand new, but that's for 0-60, 1/4 mi., etc.. Works off of magnets also. I wish I could just find the parts to get the factory one working. I know, I know, wish in one hand......
