Has anyone ever replaced the lock strip that holds the tailgate glass in? I've seen similar stuff for a Dodge truck, on eBay, but I don't want to order it, if it's not the right size.
Wagon glass trim.

I really could use to change the strip on my car as well. It looks, um, bad.
Doubtful you will find anything NOS. Maybe, but doubtful. I'm pretty sure someone makes it – we just need to find who.
If you want to check for NOS (New Old Stock), here are the part numbers:
'78 F/M-body
Note, the first item (1) is the weatherstripping where tailgate meets the body.
'81 M-body:
'78-81 full size pickup:
'78-81 B Van:
Let us know what you find!

I only noticed when like I said I noticed some replies missing I could have sworn I read.

The wagons are not round. It is more trapezoid in shape.

That is different then truck for sure.
You can probably get that type aftermarket from one of the glass or seal companies. It can't be the only vehicle that used it.

It may work. Just need to get a foot and try it.
The hidden side is clear vs. black for the original – but sense its hidden I doubt that will be a concern.
