Has anyone replace the lock strip on the tailgate glass? I saw one on eBay that looks similar, but has no returns. It fits Dodge truck. Any input?

For what it's worth, the p.n for the lock strip is 4073150 (at least for '79-81 anyways). I'd think '78 would be the same(?) Is it the same as Dodge P/U windshield lock strip? No idea but far as I can find, it's got a different p/n. There are a couple places that SHOW they have 4073150 in stock.

I think those lock strips are pretty universal. You might want to try calling a couple local independent automotive glass shops. You might get lucky and find a place that has some already in stock.
