does anyone have a pic or diagram of the proper routing of windshield washer tubing? My 79 Aspen tubing gets pinched under hood seal. wtf

It should be pretty much like this.

Thanks Cap but that's what I was saying it gets caught under hood seal. Not to question the great mopar engineers but do you think they forgot. lol

You probably have to lengthen the hose. It may have split and somebody shortened it along the way. If you look at how it's run....it's supposed to drop down in front of that seal when you close the hood. If it's too short it will pull in and get pinched.

Is that a one way valve I see there, before the supply line hits the "T"? We just replaced the tubing on our 80 Volare and had to replace the T .....didnt know about that valve......

These pictures are from my 37k mile ’77 Volare, which I drove to work today.

I don’t think Chrysler ever used a one-way valve for washers. I suspect that might be a hose size adaptor.

The other day, I saw someone else had a “one size fits all 3-way fitting”. It looked odd, but still gets the job done.

Guilty.
This is what came with my car. It definitely works, but is uniquely butt-ugly.
The folks who worked on it last didn't hook up the last line as you can see in this picture.

I had a friend with a mini van, and he re-aimed his rear squirter to spray annoying cars that followed to close.
