wiper arm removel

Anyone know how to remove the wiper arms? Im trying to replace the shattered bushings on my doba. the cowl is in the way and cant get enough hand clearance. Any thoughts?

Are you talking about the little (3/4") +/- bushing? If so, you don't have to remove the wiper arms to do that. You do have to remove the nut holding the link arm to the wiper motor. Remove the nut at the motor first and then pop the link off the other end. You do NOT want to break the big end. Once the nut is off you can twist the link arm and the bushing should pop off the wiper end.

its the bar that links the left wiper to the right. i replaced the bushings already but i cant get it to pop back on to the arms. the one linking the motor to the left arm is fine.

Make sure you lube it wheel with a compatable grease, and use channel-locs to pop them on.
