So for anyone interested in the specs on the 518. I changed the front 3 clutch front drum for a 4 clutch, rebuilt with an Alto Red Eagle Power pack, and new spring set. The "rear" clutch received the rear clutch power pack. New HP/HD bands, 5.0 kickdown lever, extra duty apply strut, and nex sprag rollers and springs, upgraded accumulator, and a 4 gear rear planetary. The Overdrive section is loaded with an OD Power pack, new trust bearings,a beefed up apply spring reaction plate, and a 5600rpm govenor kit from A&A. I then added a superior shift kit. It is popped off with a Summit deep aluminum pan for a 727, a Torco 22-2500 converter and an Allstar locking dipstick.
