Acually, the pitch in metric bolts states the threads "top to top" distance measured i mm, or explained another way the distance a bolt moves (in/out) after one turn.

The ISO standard says M10 should have 1.50 mm pitch (coarse). Any smaller pitched bolts should be described as MF10 (fine), or just M10x0.75/M10x1.00/M10x1.25

The good news is the vapor canister filter is easy available:

She needs the entire canister, not just the filter. It just filters the incoming air to the canister. I do think it's odd, seeing as pretty much the same canister was used for many years, on multiple models, that there is no aftermarket replacements, or even "date coded" repops for the resto guys.

Ooohh, I thought maybe a bad/ruptured canister filter was causing the charcoal "leakage"...

Well, it's not the first time I've learned something from your posts Aspen500, I'm sure it's not the last time either.

Took the mister to the mechanic.
had him drive the chrysler to the tax office (needed tags).
He was grinning and said ' drives like it was new'
i bought the tags and then swapped cars ... sent him home in the suburban.
Drove the chrysler 45 miles to get the front end aligned .
Sat and waited in their waiting room for 48 minutes -- told them it pulled to the right.
They had to really muck with it until they got it just right!
Paid my bill and left...
No longer pulls to the right, wheel is correctly clocked to the driver, and no funky noise , no wobble in the front end.... suh weet.

Drove 45 miles back home and I do so love it
.
Course, I now notice all the little things....

hood is sitting to high on the right front,
some kind of rattle up behind my knees on the kick panel,
somebody (me) put something(s) metalic in the glove compartment and they are rattling,
no visors on,
rock hit in the front window,
no antenna installed for the radio (sitting in my garage),
very little cool in the AC -- need to add some 134A,
and i need to clean the floors/doors and add some sound deadening material,
got new rubbers for two doors.. I'm guessing I'll do the front doors first,
I noticed lots of cool air coming in around the driver side armrest from around the controls for the windows.... that's weird.. never noticed it before. Course wind was blowing 26 mph yesterday.

But first, I had to order a new motherboard for the mister's computer. It should be here within a week and after I get it in, I'll be back on the chrysler.

Some Chrysler products actually had GM canisters right from new. I think it was my '71 Monaco (maybe) nhad a canister that said GM right on it and it was original.

AC now cools... added a whole can of 134A.
Which caused the 12 degree drop in temperature this morning outside.

lol
