Just called BudW (our moderator) and heard what he's been doing for 3 weeks.

No electric for 16 days.
No internet for 3 weeks and counting.

Staring straight at Thanksgiving with 2 kids, 1 wife, 70 trees down, and no contact with us...
Ice storm went through Oklahoma but stayed north of us here in Texas.

Told him we would help any way we could and would send thoughts and prayers to him.

So his house phone is working or was that a cell. I'll give him a call in a little bit. I still keep a house phone for when the power goes out. Longest I ever experienced was 4 days in a mild spring weather. This time of year is scary.

Hey All. I gave Bud a call. He is a tuff trooper. Lots of trees down on his property and the internet feed is still out. It was good catching up with him. He was about to get to work and I too had to slave to the grind myself (on my off day). We could have talked hours about generators, cars, and other stuff. I'll give him another call in a few days to see if there is anything we can do to pass along. I'f you have Bud's number and want to give him a friendly hit, please do.

I'm really sad to hear about Bud's situation, I hope he and his family are doing well.
Missing his informative posts, a real Mopar guru that man.

Give him my best wishes from this side of the pond.
