...to be fair, the Prius has a hellcat engine swap.

That “car” was built local to me....

"This is something that I concocted just driving on the Long Island Expressway, and having the HOV lane, and sitting in bumper to bumper traffic and just watching the conga line of Priuses going by," Filippides explains. You don't need passengers to lawfully drive qualifying hybrid cars in the carpool lane, a rule intended to incentive fuel efficiency.

"So I said, 'One of these days, I'm going to get one of these cars, and put it on that lane,'" he says. And he did.

Right, so cars having 2 or more passengers are allowed to use the HOV lane.
“Green/Eco” cars are allowed to use the lane with a single occupant.

Same here. IF I were going to buy a brand new vehicle, the only one made, by any company, that I would want is a Challenger. I'm counting all types of vehicles in that statement. Cars, trucks, SUV, COV, ABC 123.................

Got my hands on a then new 2018 Challenger for a little over a week (work sent me to, Ohio; things have a big enough boot to fit all your tool cases and luggage, lol).
Putting that thing into sport mode, taking traction control off and cracking the throttle wide open is quite the experience.

Look at that dashboard and steering wheel why do they make these things so complicated nowadays? I think I'll stick with an M-body! :D

or even less complicated, an F-body!
I'd be cool with that (I'd hold out for one with a 4-speed :) ) I can't deal with these modern cars: ugly, plastic, cheap interior materials only available in one or two colors, thousands of unnecessary computers, sensors, and relays, big ugly wheels, and don't forget tracking devices: its nobody's business when and where I drive
