I'm glad I finally got a minute to get here! Yes she's still there, basically the same: the rear bumper's gone, and so are some trim pieces, also the left fender got damaged by a forklift, those are about the only differences from the pictures

Update: she's here, the left taillight, front left window regulator, the temp and alt gauges, and the inside driver's side handle are gone but other that everythings still on her. Lots of great stuff still available

I have an '89 Fifth Avenue that I am needing the landau band molding that goes across the roof in front of the vinal top. I wonder if it would be the same???

That I'm not 100% sure, I know the roof is lower on the '89's door then the '87 is, but the main band (on the roof) might be the same. Hopefully someone here will know for sure.

I would be interested in the support bars that go from the firewall to the inner fenders, would you know if those are available? If they are, could you give me contact info?

Thank you!

A note on the radio. Even if it works, one should expect it to need work soon. The drive belt for the cassette player that old will not work as well as it should and the playback may sound slow worse case is it may eat tapes. Another thing with these radios is the push button switches have rubber "springs" that dry out. Electrolytic capacitors should be replaced anytime an older electronic device is opened up for other work.

The good news, belts are available - always have been, new button switches are available, and caps of course. All these parts are very reasonably priced every time I have checked. It's only a matter of finding somebody willing and able to do the work. The labor is likely to be the most expensive part of rejuvenating electronics of this era.

The tape deck does work, just needs to be cleaned, I tested it before they ripped the engine out, and some of the buttons weren't working I can't remember which ones at the top of my head. When I had my last Fifth Ave, I remember combining parts from a silver faced radio and two black faced ones to make a completely working one, the good news is this is a VERY easy radio to take apart and put back together

Does it have an intact air deflector? It bolts to the frame just under the condenser.
