High of 54 with 90% sunny skies and wind speed of maybe 2 mph. NICE!
Only one problem. It's nice out but there's not really anything you can do out there either (except enjoy it!).

Snow is now all melted. Stopped raining this afternoon for about a half hour. The skies cleared and there was a large glowing orb in the the sky that I didnt recognize for about 5 minutes. Then it clouded back over and went back to raining.

It's still 55 degrees at almost 7pm and raining like an s.o.b. Started around 3pm and hasn't let up yet. Just went up to the grocery store and cars leave wakes on Rib Mt. Drive. More water than the drains can keep up with.

Get to enjoy upper 50's and mostly sunny the next 3 days and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,reality rears it's ugly head on Friday. High barely into the 30's and possible 8-10" of snow. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( Yep, it's still February.

I was wrong, the official high yesterday was 60(!) I thought it seemed warmer than 54......That's more than 30 degrees above "normal" and I have no problem with abnormalities like that:D

Low 20's, windy but the sun is out. It's just plain friggin' cold. Tomorrow low around zero and highs in the teens but then by Sunday it's supposed to be low 50's and back to 20's later in the week. Here goes the rollercoaster. Wonder why everyone feels sick............

we fell back down to the mid 60s for 3 days (normal temps).
They are forecasting mid 70s to low 80s most of next week.
Sigh.
Absolutely no spring this year. Went from a week of winter to early summer with no rain.
This weather is proving challenging this year.

We keep getting April weather, then January, then a taste of May, back to January. It's only 12 degrees this morning (like January) and Sunday is forecast to be 55 (like late April/early May) and then middle of next week, back to high 20's or low 30's..........It's getting really, really old about now.:(

Well, just about all the snow is gone,,,,,,,,,,,again. Probably means we'll get another snow storm shortly if tradition continues like it has been. I've purposely avoided hearing a weather forecast (ignorance is bliss, lol) other than it's supposed to be low 40's and windy tomorrow. Windy as in 40-60 mph windy. Son of a........................I'm thinking that could suck a little bit.

I had to go to traffic court Monday – several counties away.

Driving down I-40 with that stiff wind from the South was tough work. I think the wind was blowing 50-60 MPH. All I know is you drive under an overpass, and car would change lanes. Get back out in the wind and car would change a couple of lanes back in the opposite direction. What a workout.

The first time I took my ’86 5th Ave out for a long drive (300 miles total) – so I finally got to put that 2.2 gear ratio to work (for once).

FYI, my ’77 wagon with 3.2 ratio gears got me the same mileage as my ’86 5th Ave did with 2.2 ratio gears. Also, I was going a quite a bit faster with the wagon at the time, which is why I had to go to traffic court to begin with.

The court house might be able to fit inside of my house (in a small county). Court is held on first Monday of the month and a total of 3 people (including myself) was present. Unlike the other two people, I was able to talk my way out of the ticket.

Leaving court, I had lunch at a small restaurant called “I Smell Bacon”, which was located next door to a gas station called “I Smell Gas” – which was selling 100% gas. I filled up at both locations.

At 10pm last night it was almost 60 degrees and then we had a "world is coming to an end" thunderstorm. Lightening, torrential rain, strong winds, the works. Had 40-60 mph wind all freaking day, and it's still going strong but it's only 30 and we just had a sideways blizzard. Come on weather, pick something and go with it already instead of this up and down and up and down crap! I mean really!:D
