i sold my 79 R/T last December and bought this 77 RoadRunner.

this is a huge change for me. i'm used to 4000 lbs with my last 2 cars. this one is 2400 lbs.

i have to make a few changes to make it 8.50 spec. my plans are to run 9.50's on motor and spray to 8.60's.

as of rite now i have it fully gutted. the cage needs to be redone. it won't pass tech. i will build the cage and have it certified to the 8.50 spec.

i have the block and crank back from the machine shop. it's ready to be put together. the only thing i need is a set of heads and i can assembly it.

i will also go with a bigger rear tire, 14 x 32's.

it has glass bumpers, hood, and rear deck lid. interior is all tin with 1 race seat. it's a very lite car. i think it will be fun.

my wife doesn't like the color. so i guess it will get painted. i have been thinking B5 blue?

it came from Stratford, Ontario. if anybody knows anything or have pics, please share.

Sad to hear you sold your R/T. I loved that car. However, this 77 is sick. The 77 4speed car I just got is just for cruising with its buzz'n 1/2 dozen slant. Man, yours is gona take flight.

Looking forward to your progress on your 77 runner.

WS racing had fiberglass bumpers for volare aspen at one time. I not sure they are even around anymore.
