I gave up finding an OEM silver faced radio 1982-1988 for my 1977 LeBaron . I did purchase a 1990 New Yorker AM/FM cassette radio which looks good in my LeBaron . I want to replace the top speaker also it is I believe a 4x10 and I want to install two 3.5's in an adapter bracket . It should be pretty basic with the wiring correct ? [/ATTACH]

A silver face radio and black face radios are pretty much the same as far as fitting into the dash.

The question will be wiring hookups.

Most radios with only one speaker – has a rather simple wiring schematic.
In ’77, even the Stereo system is pretty basic.

The newer style (not sure what year but ’81 maybe?) Chrysler went a more across the board design that they used for a long time afterwards.

Attached is PDF files of the ’77 system and pictures from my ’86 FSM of the newer design.

I’ve ran out of time tonight to speak more about your plans – so stay tuned.
