WANTED '78 SE / Premier steering wheel in butterscotch

If anyone has a butterscotch colored SE or Premier steering wheel for sale, please contact me. The '78 has the inlay of "wood" around the wheel, the '76-'77 does not. Either would work, but prefer the '78. The '79's did not come in the butterscotch color. Thanks.

these are the wheels that have the horn switch in the spokes

P021PU7 tan. don't have.
P021Ry7 gold. have NOS. this wheel color not used on the F body that year.

Thanks Marty! I checked in my '78 parts book, and you are right, the "H" and "N" (Volare and Aspen) 3 spoke wheel with horn pads in the spokes were issued in "tan" (PO21PU7). The PO21RY7 (gold) was only issued for the "R", "W" and "C" (Fury, Monaco and Chrysler) models. Nuts. I wonder how different the colors really are? Would it be possible for you to post a picture of the one you have? In any case, there has to be one out there somewhere. I have learned to be patient for what I want.

The pictures I've posted on this tread are off the internet. They are showing the type of wheel I would like to get. The one I've posted in this reply shows the basic type of wheel that I have currently. OY still has manual steering, but I have the entire power steering setup to install when I finally get some time. I sort of gave up trying to post my own pics - can't seem to re-size them to suit the program, or don't know how, or whatever. Tired of trying to figure it out.

Well, Santa screwed up my order and I got tube socks instead of a 1978 butterscotch colored SE/Premiere steering wheel. Nuts. It's up to you Supercoupe. Any luck finding it yet? (Not that there hasn't been anything else to do for the past few weeks!)

Bump. Now that I actually HAVE power steering, I'd like to find a three spoke Aspen SE or Volare Premere power steering wheel to go along with it. Anyone out there have a butterscotch colored one and willing to part with it? If not, I will probably go with a Grant's Tuff wheel. Thanks.

The Center Cap is different (I think), but same wheel is used on B-bodies as well – so trying FBBO might be a good ideal.

I had a red version on my ‘77 Cordoba, back in the day.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I really wish I had kept the SE wheel off my Aspen T-top. I still regret giving up on that car.

Thanks, I went on FBBO last night and saw this wheel. That's the closest I have seen so far. There is certainly WAY more parts for B's than there are for FMJ's! In fact, it was interesting how many steering wheels there are for the older B's (pre 75) and E's. Very little from mid to late 70's or 80's. Humm. I'm not in any hurry, and perhaps one will come along at some point. If not, I might go for a Grant's Tuff wheel. The Mopar Tuff wheel would have been an available option for OY, but not a likely one. I have just been deciphering my metal fender tag. It does list the rear air dam, the A833, the Super Six, inside hood release, but need to figure out the last few. OY was NOT a high option car by any means. I'm slowly changing that.

One problem I just saw with my Fender Tag is highlighted above (red text).

The door sticker has the MDH (Month / Day / Hour) listed as 111110 – which is November 11 at 10 am (the hour goes by 24 hour clock) – so it appears I have a “goof up” somewhere.
I suspect mine might have been one of first made on November 11, so maybe the stamp didn’t get changed over from day before – who knows.
