Just Wondering:

Not what you want to hear, but that car has the Chrysler Snowflake wheels. They look OK now, but if you polish them out right, they will look incredible. Looks like a really nice car, if you have the cash. I would try to talk you out of it, but I would be buying it myself, if I wasn't a gazillion miles away.

It looks like 18k miles.
It looks like is well worth the $2,500.

Headliner doesn’t look that bad either, to me.

My question is for you, Justwondering, is not your 5th Ave the same year, same model, same wheels and same color?
BudW

Edit: By the way, I can get that heater working well, for you.
I’ll just hop down to big D, drag car here. Fix car and drag it back to ya – but there is a slight chance the car might be returned a slightly darker silver (or charcoal grey to be exact) and a slight chance the car might be a year older than ’87 . . .
But offer to fix heater for you still is open.

I think it could be. My Cordoba has about 15K, I bought it with 9K. Last year, I bought a 23 year old Dodge Ram with only 816 miles on the clock. Ms and Js are getting to that age where they are ending up in estate sales. Cars that that grandma and grandpa bought as their last car, and then rarely drove. I've seen a dramatic up-tick in 80's iron hitting the auctions - and a lot of that iron is very nice!

It is exactly the same color, same year, same model, same wheels but mine now has 40,000 on it.

My husband wants to go check it out which is code for 'can we buy it please'.
Says he will not give up the other one since it was his mom's.

But this would be the 'good' car.

BudW - I think I'll have to go look at it. He says it would be my car, but if I got the car and could sweet talk one of those canadian boys into trading it for a decent 77 chrysler cordoba or some such ... it would be worth the journey.

Course I guess we could be a his and hers matching pair.
Does mean I'd finally get a carport for the beauties.

I'm still looking for that green car in my future.

There is one difference in this car.

The pin stripes are red.
My current silver fifth avenue has blue stripes.

yes today has been odd.
Got a few items off the to-do list but basically spent way too many hours since 3 am this morning lying in bed listening to the air machine push oxygen for my husband. Couldn't shut my brain down so I've been up and going on about 3 hours of sleep.

I'm just bouncing around the project list and trying to distract myself.

We are running extra electric lines for the seed warming mats in the greenhouse tomorrow.
Battery is dead in the Chrysler so I'll have it on the charger.

Jeeze I have oral diarrhea today. bleh
