2000 Silverado - I put new accuators in during February to fix the heat and now none of the air blows through the vents--got to get that fixed
1997 Dually - fiberglass body work where the gate clipped the fender and the clear coat is delaminating big time
1987 Chrysler - needs the sun visors installed, radio installed and electrical repair from winter packrat damage
1974 Bronco - rats moved in the engine compartment and the rain gutter on the rear roof has rust
1963 Willys Pickup (Red) - new gas line, new brakes and wiring harness
1963 Willys Pickup (Green) - just arrived this weekend have to take an inventory

Main project is to convert the white barn down at the estate from a clutter catcher to a work area for vehicles. Does mean its a 17 mile trip to work on things but at least it won't be on the dirt and I can leave projects in-process if need be.

After this morning 1:10 am to 3:32 am, I am hereby removing everything automotive from my list.

Coyotes were sitting right outside the house baying at the moon.
Dogs in the house started baying at the coyotes.

My money is going for a night scope.
My time is going to a couple of tall deer blinds.
My sleep is going to holding an AR-15 with a night scope and putting a dent in this problem.

About 2 months ago, the feds and the state boys finally got the last permits needed for the 1,700 acre lake going in just 2 miles from my house. All that equipment has everything stirred up as they decimate the wildlife housing, trees, utilities, houses, etc for the coming 16 months.

(Course, you realize the first line is a complete emotional lie... I could never desert my Fifth Avenue and the great PackRat War of 2018).

Somehow my list has morphed into tractor hell.
Spent the entire day on the 1969 Massey Ferguson 165 which has been sitting for 4 years.

I was going to finish it up yesterday but realized 1) the gas coming out of the line was yellow,
2) the radiator fluid was taking forever to drip out of the pitcock valve, and 3) there is no obvious place to insert a key.

Cleaned the tank twice but will do again today to reduce the yellow.
Filling up the radiator with coolant and water.
I'm hoping for divine inspiration regarding starting this thing once I'm sitting in the seat.

MBDale -- I'm living my car life vicariously through your project. Nice build.

No major stuff here, was originally going to do a stroker W2 build over the winter but those plans were shelved...instead I am going to feed my Mopar "inner child" with a swap to a 4.10 '742 gear from my current 3.91 '741 pig.

What are you looking at? Night vision can get expensive real darn quick, but I suspect you know that already.
An alternative might be a lit reticle regular scope (maybe 3-9x40mm) and surplus NV goggles. It's considerably less $$ when they're not cramming light-gathering electronics AND magnification AND great glass all into the same package... I like Leupold, Redfield, and Burris for optics. But Nikon has a lit-reticle 4x w a .223 BDC that I'm considering too. The Japanese make good glass, just not Swarovski-good.
How far are you shooting?

distance can be as short as 20 feet to as far as 50 yards...
My brother could probably do 100 yards, but I don't practice enough for that.

At those distances I'd probably go with a red dot and a 3x magnifier with a tip-off mount. Then I'd invest in a quality Surefire or even Streamlight WML with a pressure switch. A lot of the newer small lights can push light well past 50 yds.

Hopefully finishing the conversion of my 80 Volare into the 78 Aspen RT complete with a stroked 390 in it. It would go faster if I won the lottery
