Looking to sell or possibly trade my '80 Aspen. I've had my fun with it . It has a built 360, .040 over, ported J heads,Performer intake, 650 cfm Proform carb, headers with dual 3" exhaust thatexits behind rear wheels.Fresh 904 trans with shift kit. 8 3/4 rearend with 3:73 Sure Grip.American Racing wheels with brand new tires all around. Body has a few flaws but in overall very good condition , especially for a black car. Interior in very good shape as well. Not a show car but great cruiser or cruise night car, gets lots of attention. Asking $7500/ again possible trade for Mopar A body. Car is located in Western New York, between Buffalo and Rochester. PM me for more details.

My old car!
Did you recently purchase this car? I know it was for sale a few months back by someone named Al. When I inquired, it was sold already.

I bought the car back in late April to drive for the summer. I have 2 other cars that I'm working on. If it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it.

Greetings from the Motor City!
I just wanted to find out what body work it may need, plus any other areas you feel need some work. Thanks!

It really doesn't need any body work. The paint is thin in a few spots and there's a crack and a few bubbles on the hood where the Road Runner part of the hood was mated to the flat hood. Other than that, car is straight. For a black car, she looks pretty damn good.

How might it handle duties as a road trip car?

Car is in very good mechanical shape. As with any old car, things can happen. I personally trailer if I'm going a great distance.

Road trips with old cars are fun, until they break down hours from home, where you can`t get parts or even someone old enough to know what they are looking at. Then the fun begins,, LOL

I can agree with you up to a point,, You can`t replace everything, Parts wear , then fail and it happens with old machines more often then with new ones, But I still love my old cars, even though, I`ve been stranded a couple times. I just don`t take then on long trips any more
