I was born right handed and at one time, I couldn't do much of anything with my left. After being an auto tech for 30+ years, my left hand is much more useful. Feels like someone else.................Sorry, couldn't resist.
You know what else helps? Being able to visualize what your hands are doing, without actually being able to see what they're doing. For some reason, it makes it easier if you close your eyes and picture it in your mind.
After all these years, it's also made the skin on my hands and arms heat resistant. Probably all the scar tissue from getting burns all the time on exhaust manifolds, hot engines and transmissions. Let's not forget the forget and lean on the radiator tank with your forearms. Ouch.............................
